Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 July 2026
These terms describe the general working relationship for Weburate projects. A signed proposal or other written agreement may add to or replace parts of these terms. This page is not legal advice.
Quotes and indicative pricing
Website prices are indicative until Weburate confirms the deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, timeline and price in writing. Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, paid fonts, plugins, stock assets, payment-provider fees and external services are separate unless explicitly included.
Deposits and milestones
Work begins after the agreed deposit and required access or content are received. Remaining payments follow the milestones stated in the accepted quote. Weburate may pause work when an invoice is overdue.
Scope changes and revisions
The written scope defines included pages, features and revision rounds. New requirements or revisions beyond that scope may change the cost and timeline and require written approval.
Client content and responsibilities
The client is responsible for timely, accurate and lawful text, images, claims, credentials, policies, approvals and account access. The client confirms it has permission to use supplied material. Delayed content, access or feedback can delay delivery.
Domains, hosting and third parties
Where practical, domains and hosting should be registered in the client’s name. Weburate may assist with setup but does not control third-party availability, pricing, policy changes or outages.
Intellectual property
After full payment, the client receives ownership of the final custom deliverables identified in the proposal. Pre-existing tools, reusable know-how and third-party material remain subject to their existing ownership and licences.
Cancellation and refunds
Either party may cancel in writing. The client pays for completed work, committed third-party costs and approved work in progress up to cancellation. Deposits are refundable only to the extent stated in the accepted proposal or required by applicable law.
Delivery and acceptance
Dates are estimates unless explicitly guaranteed in writing. Delivery depends on content, approvals, access and third parties. The client should review deliverables promptly and report scope-related defects within the acceptance period stated in the quote.
Maintenance and support
Post-launch support covers only the period and items in the written scope. Ongoing edits, monitoring, backups, security response, platform updates and new features require a maintenance agreement or separate quote.
